A mid-20th century Persian (Iranian) silver box, Isfahan circa 1950
Pahlavi dynasty, of circular form with a pull off domed lid. The chased monabbat-kari decoration of deer, peonies and birds, edged with a rosette border. The side of the box with fruiting vine, edged underneath with a rosette border. Marked underneath with town mark and with standard mark (۸۴).
