A Rare Nodark Ferrotype Camera. Dating from 1890-1900 the 'Nodark' is little more than a simple, elongated box camera. It could produce up to 26 2½ x 3½ inch images in on a single loading. After a shot had been taken the side-mounted lever was pulled and the exposed plate dropped through a slot in the button of the camera and into a simple developing "tank" (not present). Turning the ornate, side-mounted knob advances the internal film holder ready for the next shot. Features a simple shutter (working) and lens, with rotary stops. Provenance: The Rocky Cameras Collection.
