A late 18th century George III unmarked gold and aventurine glass snuff box, circa 1770
Of bombé circular form, the hinged lid collet set centrally with aventurine glass around chased decoration of flowers and palmettes. The interior with a pull off grill with pierced decoration of roses, possibly later for use as a vinaigrette.
Diameter - 3 cm / 1.2 inches
