An early 20^th century Chinese Export silver dressing table box, Canton circa 1900 retailed by Wang Hing

Qing dynasty, of tapering cylindrical form with pull off lid. Embossed decoration throughout of bamboo against a matted ground, the lid additionally with a bird and a rocky outcrop. The centre of lid with a small circular cartouche engraved with initials in cypher CAA. Marked underneath WH and 90 only.
