An early 20^th century Burmese unmarked silver milk jug and covered twin handled sugar bowl, Thayetmyo circa 1900

Each of globular form upon a domed circular foot. Each with wrought C scroll handled with chased acanthus terminal. The domed pull-off lid of the sugar bowl surmounted by a cast figure of a Chinthe, otherwise with embossed foliate scrolls edged with flat chased beading. The bodies with embossed vignettes of dancing figures, peacocks, and a Chinthe, all reserved with foliate scrolls and rosettes all between stylised leaf borders. (2)
