A Victorian antique sterling silver snuff box, Birmingham 1868, by Hilliard & Thomason Of shaped-rectangular form with waisted sides, the lid with flush hinge and scroll thumbpiece, engraved decoration of interlaced strap scroll work. The lid with central cartouche with initials RSC in a gothic script, a crest of a boar’s head, and the motto “Reddens laudes domino”. Gilt interior, marked to the base and lid interior.
