A CHOLA-REVIVAL BRONZE PROCESSIONAL STATUE OF SHIVA AND PARVATI Southern India, 19th - 20th century, of typical shape, cast with lost-wax technique in the round, set on a rectangular stepped pedestal, the God Shiva standing upright and holding his typical attributes in his hands (a deer and an axe) and forming the abhaya (fear not) mudra with the latter two hands, Parvati, his consort, smaller in size and holding a lotus flower in her hand, 34.5cm x 20.3cm.
