Comprising an American half plate of three children, presumably siblings, with light hand colouring, and side-hinged push button case; a quarter plate ambrotype of a painting, with manuscript label in ink identifying the sitter as Joseph King (1878-1822), lid detached; a ninth plate of a woman, identified as Mary Ann Jones, the wife of Joseph King, in red morroco case with lid embossed "Lee 57 Chruch St. Liverpool"; a hand coloured quarter plate of a married couple, with embossed gilt label on the red morroco case reading "Butler of No. 9 St Marys Butts Reading"; a sixth plate ambrotype of a woman with bonnet, housed in a union case depicting two children; and two wall hanging sixth plate ambrotype portraits, one of an older Gentleman and the other a young boy with newspaper backing and manuscript label identifying the sitter as Robert Jones King 17 Dec 1867.
