A George III sterling silver snuff box, Birmingham 1787 by Samuel Pemberton

Of elliptical form with a hinged lid with flush hinge. The lid with a bright cut engraved shield shape cartouche engraved with initials EB in flourished cursive script, otherwise edged and to the sides with bright cut band. Gilt interior. Fully marked to base only.
