Qing Dynasty, 19th Century.

Embroidered in silk thread with a pheasant, a pair of magpies and butterflies around a cluster of wild roses, grasses and other blossoms against a buff ground, all mounted within a reticulated wood frame carved with blossoming prunus branches, 110 x 86cm.
