Horst P. Horst (1906-1999)

Published in British Vogue in 1936, Horst's striking fashion study 'White Sleeve' features Doris Zelensky modelling a suit Robert Piguet and hat by Suzanne Talbot. Horst began his career at Vogue in 1931, after serving as an assistant for well-established fashion photographer George Hoyningen-Huene. By 1935, Horst was acting as a principal photographer for Vogue in Paris and New York.
