晚明 青釉八卦紋三足爐
The compressed body raised on three mask-form feet and carved in relief to the exterior to depict the bagua below a band of flowerhead bosses around the rim, decorated with a pale olive-green glaze suffused with a network of russet-coloured crackles, the glaze falling short of the well and base to reveal the buff-coloured body,
c.f. A comparable censer, dated to the late Ming Dynasty, was offered at Sotheby's New York, 24th March 2021, lot 541.
