An early 20th century Burmese unmarked silver lime box, Shan States circa 1910

Demi-lune form with a hinged lid, the sides with chased panels with birds between foliate scrolls and textured bands. The lid with a multitude of textured bands and foliate scrolls. The reverse with a rectangular cartouche, chased with Burmese script. The underside with chased Burmese script edged with a textured band.
