A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver parasol handle, Madras circa 1880
Raj period, of tapering cylindrical form, with deep chased decoration in the Swami style of Hindu gods and deities amidst foliate scrolls, flower heads and foliage against a textured ground, with a vacant shield shaped cartouche. The pommel formed as acanthus leaves, with a curb link chain. Filled.
