A Victorian Scottish unmarked silver and quartz mounted vinaigrette horn, circa 1873
The hinged mount with embossed decoration of trailing thistles inset with a Cairngorm quartz to top and tip. The front with an applied shield shaped cartouche with engraved initials CJW in gothic cypher. The interior with a gilt hinged drill pierced and engraved grill. With a suspension chain and finger ring. Registration diamond for 29th July 1873.
