The Visit of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie with Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to Crystal Palace, Sydenham, 20 April 1855, on the occasion of the Great Exhibition. Stereoscopic daguerreotype, plate size approx. 171mm x 82.5mm in black passe-partout, and in very fine condition throughout, with original seals and maker's paper credit verso.
