AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF SEKHMET Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. Depicted wearing a sun disc and uraeus headdress and a close-fitting ankle-length dress, lion-headed Sekhmet stands with arms clasped to her sides, her facial features finely incised, 15.5cm high.  Provenance: Gottfried & Helga Hertel collection, Cologne, acquired prior to 1995.
