An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked white metal three-piece tea service, Calcutta circa 1930
Raj period, comprising a teapot, milk jug and twin handled sugar bowl. Each pf inverted baluster form with lobed body raised upon four cast foliate scroll feet. The teapot with a curved spout opposite a D section handle fitted with ivory insulators, hinged fluted domed lid (finials deficient). The bodies with embossed decoration in village pattern, depicting figures and housing. (3)
