A mid-19th century Chinese export silver snuff box, Canton circa 1850 retailed by Khecheong
Of rectangular form with a hinged lid, the rims of chased rosettes and foliage. The lid with figures besides a house, centred with a cartouche engraved with an oval cartouche engraved with initials, the base with two figures approaching a woman washing clothes in a river, the sides with figures. Gilt interior. Marked KHC only.
