A SECOND QUARTER 19TH CENTURY ENGLISH GILT BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK BY HENRY BLUNDELL, LONDON the case of Rococo style, surmounted by a foliate finial, the sides and front with pierced trellis-work, raised on four acanthus wrapped, scrolling feet, the silvered dial with Roman numerals and engine turned centre, with steel Breguet type hands, the single fusee timepiece movement with circular plates, the backplate signed 'Blundell, Red Lion Street, CLERKENWELL', with pendulum and pendulum lock,  31cm high Henry Blundell is recorded working at Red Lion Street from 1839-1851.
