A mid-19th century Indian colonial silver milk pan, Calcutta circa 1850 by Hamilton and Co
Of rounded form, with a turned wooden side handle with silver socket. The gently conical domed lid surmounted by a detachable wooden finial, the pouring lip with hinged flap. Marked underneath H&C, Roman capital A, elephant and tally mark, the lid unmarked.
