A POLYCHROME MAYA DISH Classic Period, Circa 330 - 600 B.C. The large shallow dish, decorated with polychrome design, a border of foliate patterns are encirled by a border of two red slip bands, a figure is depicted in the centre, possibly the Maize God, 30.4cm diameter. Provenance: Private UK collection, acquired in the 1970s.
