A LATE QAJAR SET OF A SILVER BOWL AND TRAY Iran, first half of 20th century Comprising a deep hemispherical bowl with crenellated rim, on short plain foot, the exterior finely engraved with alternating arabesques sprouting a vegetal bloom and split palmettes and floral roundels, a flower head garland decorating the rim, the interior plain, 24.4cm diam.; and a tray, in similar style, with a concentric design morphing from geometric to floral, the edges ridged with floral festoons, each base stamped ‘84 Fadavi Isfahan’ in Persian, 32cm diam.
