AN EARLY VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER SMALL THERMOMETER, BIRMINGHAM 1840 BY JOSEPH WILMORE
With die stamped decoration of a peasant and his dog against a tree with cattle and goat surrounding, the base formed as fruiting vine. The mercury thermometer attached to an ivory section with incised temperature scale. Fully marked to the front.
