A MID-20TH CENTURY PERSIAN (IRANIAN) SILVER VASE
Isfahan, circa 1960
Pahlavi dynasty, of inverted baluster form upon a spreading circular foot, the everted neck with a shaped heptafoil notched rim. The body with chased monabbat-kari decoration of peonies and long tailed birds within shaped cartouches, reserved with arabesques. Marked to the neck with a workshop / retailer’s mark and standard mark (۸۴), also the underside with a different workshop / retailer’s mark and standard mark (۸۴).
