AN ORDOS BRONZE BLADE With a large, cleaver-like blade, the end curving upwards, with a sharp cutting edge, the opposing edge decorated with a raised double hook motif, surmounting a border of incised decoration in the form of swirling patterns, the handle incised with a depiction of a recumbent serpent or dragon, 43.4cm long. Provenance: With a London dealer, acquired prior to 1983.
