An early 20th century Chinese Export silver kettle on stand, Shanghai circa 1920 by Jing Quan, retailed by Wing Nam of Hong Kong

Of compress circular form upon four bamboo modelled feet, with a curved bamboo modelled spout, the opposable bamboo modelled overhead handle, a hinged domed lid surmounted with a bamboo modelled finial. The body with an embossed trailing Chinese dragon, the lid with flat chased bamboo, a vacant circular cartouche to the side. The X frame stand modelled as bamboo with a central removable spirit burner. Marked underneath each foot of stand and kettle with retailer’s mark WN and artisan mark 景泉(JING QUAN).
