A GOOD PAIR OF MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURAL CANDLESTICKS, circa 1880, both modelled with two semi-nude putti, one standing holding a fish issuing the candle sconce from its mouth, the other reclining on the ground below, raised on mound bases moulded with scrollwork borders heightened in gold, 25cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised model nos. 1145 and 1146, pressnummern (2) FOOTNOTES: These candlesticks are closely related to F.E.
