A late 19th / early 20th century Chinese Export silver small salver or tray, Canton circa 1900 by Shan Ji, retailed by Wang Hing
Qing dynasty, of circular form upon three compressed ball feet, with a pierced and engraved galleried edge of trailing Chinese dragons amidst clouds, the field flat chased and engraved with two trailing Chinese dragons amidst clouds chasing the sacred pearl, forming a vacant circular cartouche to the centre, all against a ring punched ground. Marked to the reverse with retailer’s mark WH, numeral 90 and artisan mark 善記 (SHAN JI).
