An early 20th century Chinese export provincial silver hot water pot, Tsingtao circa 1910 marked Qindao Wanbao and Wan Pao
Qing dynasty. Of tapering cylindrical form with a hinged domed lid of conforming shape, C scroll loop handle, the body with chased decoration of peonies against a textured ground, the side with a vacant shield shape cartouche. Marked underneath TSINGTAO and WAN PAO, also 青岛万宝 (QINDAO WANBO).
