A mid-20th century Italian 800 standard silver fruit bowl, Milan 1934-44 by Vittorio Muggia
of shaped oval form with cast and applied bouquets of fruit with acanthus scrolls either side, the cast and applied handles form as openwork grotesque masks between scroll and a bouquet of fruit. Raised upon a shaped oval foot. Marked underneath VM, 800 and fascist assay mark.
