A SET OF FIVE RED AND GILT BOHEMIA CUT-GLASS BEAKERS WITH A DECANTER FOR THE IRANIAN MARKET Bohemia, Czech Republic, late 19th century Comprising five cylindrical beakers, each one with its own circular saucer, and a pyriform decanter with a ringed neck and faceted arrow-shaped lid on a circular dish with crenellated rim, the decoration typical of the Iranian export market production and consisting of swirling bands of gilt beading, rosette and floral bouquets, grid patterns and stylised vegetal festoons, the base cut and incised with a starry design, the beakers 9 cm high, their saucers 11.5 cm diam., the decanter 35.8 cm high and its saucer 18.5 cm diam.
