An early 20^th century Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) unmarked silver lime box, Kandy circa 1920

Of shaped lobed rectangular form, raised upon four ball feet, a hinged centrally domed lid. The sides and lid with chased decoration of rosettes and foliate scrolls between dotted bands. The underside with flat chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes with a central vacant rectangular cartouche all edged with a lotus sepal border.
