A RED AND GILT BOHEMIA CUT-GLASS SPIRIT DECANTER FOR THE IRANIAN MARKET  Bohemia, Czech Republic, late 19th century  Of typical pyriform shape, on a circular flat base, with a tapering ringed neck rising to a wide everted mouth, the lid faceted and arrow-shaped, the decoration typical of the Iranian export market production and consisting of swirling bands of gilt beading, rosette and floral bouquets, grid patterns and stylised vegetal festoons, the base cut and incised with a starry design, 46cm high.
