Of compressed form and raised on a trio of beast-form legs, the exterior moulded to simulate cloisonné enamel depicting dragons flying amidst swirling clouds on a mottled turquoise ground, the base with a six-character Qianlong mark highlighted in gilt, topped with a pierced cover surmounted by a finial moulded as a chilong, raised on a fitted wood stand

A related 'imitation bronze' censer, dated to the Qing Dynasty and being of fang ding form, was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 11 Oct 2017, lot 390 (HKD 81,250), and one with a similar archaistic design was formerly in the Qing Court collection, now in the Shenyang Museum and illustrated in 'The Prime Cultural Relics Collected by Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum', Shenyang, 2007, p. 212.
