MAZZEGA: A glass and steel pendant light, circa 1960s, designed with five chromed plated branches, each supporting an opalescent to clear Murano glass globe-shaped shade with central amber glass magma detail, manufactured by the Mazzega Glass Factory (1929 - 1983)
Notes: Mazzega Glass Factory is one of the Murano glass created in 1929. Glassmakers and designers of Mazzega contributed to the diffusion of Murano glass in the 20th century the world. This plant has worked with many famous artists such as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Jean Cocteau and Georges Braque. It was closed in 1983.
