CARTE PHOTOGRAPHIQUE ET SYSTÉMATIQUE DE LA LUNE, Paris: Académie des sciences, 1914. Rare fascicles (only 2 of 4), measuring 455 x 348mm, comprising 24 heliogravure plates with printed overlays and two original printed wrappers. All leaves hole-punched and bound in a single ring binder (without accompanying text).

Le Morvan worked at the Observatoire de Paris from 1894, and contributed to the observatory's groundbreaking map of the moon's surface, which was published in 12 volumes and titled 'Atlas photographique de la lune' (1896-1910). In 1914, Le Morvan published his own, reduced version of the Atlas containing 48 heliogravure plates, in 4 fascicles, two of which are presented here.
