An Edwardian sterling silver and tortoiseshell jewellery box, London 1904 by William Comyns
Of rectangular form with a hinged panelled lid. The mounted edged with laurel stringing, the base with a guilloche rim. The sides with applied lambrequins, the lid centred with a ribbon tied laurel garland rosette with musical instruments, the sides with foliate swags. Velvet cushion interior. Fully marked to the side.
