A PAIR OF RED AND GILT BOHEMIA CUT-GLASS BOWLS WITH SAUCERS FOR THE IRANIAN MARKET  Bohemia, Czech Republic, late 19th century  Comprising two globular bowls, each with their hemispherical lid topped by a gilt brass pear as knob, on their circular saucers with crenellated rims, the decoration typical of the Iranian export market production and consisting of swirling bands of gilt beading, rosette and floral bouquets, grid patterns and stylised vegetal festoons, the base cut and incised with a starry design, 18.5cm high and 15cm diam.
