With a brand as reputable and established as Breitling, it is not a surprise to find links between their watches and the military. Many of Breitling’s watches were produced and designed with military use in mind and the Breitling Colt is a case in point. The Colt is famous for its sturdiness, reliability, and readability, but when it was first produced it was not meant for the civilian market, rather for use by the armed forces, especially as the watch is designed to be waterproof and to be able to handle the pressure of water depths up to 200m – and for an affordable price to boot. In fact, this model was not available to the civilian market until the 1990s.

Estimated at £1,000 - £2,000
