A pair of early 20^th century Chinese export silver bowls, Shanghai circa 1910 by Heng Lai retailed by Yung Lei of Hong Kong and Canton

Qing dynasty, each of tapering cylindrical form with a reeded rim, the bodies with embossed and pierced decoration of Chinese trailing dragons amidst grounds, each centring upon the sacred pearl as a vacant circular cartouche. Each marked underneath with artisan mark 恒來 (HENG LAI), and with retailer’s mark YL. (2)
