A late 20th century Persian (Iranian) 840 standard silver cigarette box, Tabriz 1967-79

Pahlavi dynasty, of rectangular from with hinged lid and plain thumbpiece and cavetto edge. The body with chased and engraved ghalam zani decoration of tessellated patterns centred with rosette strapwork cartouches reserved with four rosettes. Marked underneath with assay mark 1967-79 and standard mark (۸۴).
