A BRITISH BRONZE FLAT AXE HEAD Early Bronze Age, circa 1900-1400 B.C. Of Migdale type, with crescentic blade and curved butt, 11.5cm Provenance: Allan Course Collection, Sussex, formed in the 1990s and early 2000s, acquired on the UK art market. Found at Catton, Humberside, accompanied by a copy of a letter from Scunthorpe Borough Council documenting the find, dated January 1988.
