Qing Dynasty, 19th Century.
Painted with a pair of mythical birds perched on top of a porous rock amongst huge peony blossoms, each bird with a crest to the top of the head and a long flowing tail of peacock-like feathers, inscribed to the top left, framed, 35 x 48cm.
