The binoculars were produced for naval observation and navigation, and can also be used aboard yachts for fishing, viewing wildlife and astronomy. This model is still used by Navies and Comet chasers. The specifications are 25 times magnification, 150 mm objective diameter, and 2.7 degree actual field of view.
