AN UNUSUAL CARTES DE VISITE ALBUM c.1860s-80s, containing a collection of 60 Cartes de Visite, including an interesting selection of images showing sitters looking away from the camera or into mirrors, a collection of relief gem-type portraits of Ladies & Gentleman, a Pigeon Letter CDV from 1870, various composite CDVs featuring royalty, a portrait of Notorious forger Edward Simpson (1815-1874) a Gentlemen in a wheelchair, two men in Boxing costume, the "Tit-Bits Villa" a Christmas competition prize by Brown, Barnes & Bell, various shopfronts, some images with inscriptions verso
