Duke of Leinster - Three George IV Irish sterling silver dessert forks, Dublin 1828 by Patrick Moore retailed by Matthew West

King's Hourglass pattern, double struck with union shell heel. The reverse engraved with a crest of a monkey statant, environed about the middle with a plain collar and chained, surmounted by a Duke's coronet. Marked to stem. Together with three Victorian fruit or dessert knives, Sheffield 1848 by Aron Hatfield same pattern and crest. (6)

Knife length – 21.5 cm / 8.75 inches

Weighable silver – 191 grams / 6.14 ozt

The crest is for Fitzgerald, as borne by the Duke’s of Leinster
