Made for the U.S. National Guard, developed and procured by the Office of Naval Research Special Devices Centres
Dimensions of base: 48 x 13 inches (123 x33 cm), length of gun overall: 75 inches (190 cm).
Notes
These training models were manufactured to enable a group of trainee soldiers to be instructed in the working operation of the gun, its moving parts, disassembly and re-assembly, cleaning, and maintenance methods. Comprising all the same moving parts of the actual weapon, this double-life-size non-firing training model is accurate in all respects.
