A set of Victorian Scottish sterling silver teaspoons and sugar tongs, Glasgow 1863 by Robert Scott

This pattern, a hybrid between Grecian pattern and Queen’s pattern, is most often seen bearing Glasgow marks for Robert Scott, which in all likeness was entirely produced by Martin, Hall and Co for Scott. A surviving canteen contains the original receipt in which this pattern is referred to as Princess pattern, despite it having no design correlation to the two Princess patterns that were made at this time already.
