Chromolithograph on paper, no. 244 illustration of the Vanity Fair issue 5 July 1873, portraying the Qajar ruler Nasir al-Din, Shah of Persia, seated on a Western chair, wearing a gem and pearl-studded black robe and aigrette, featuring as part of the "Spy" series of caricatures of famous men, diplomats and rulers drawn by the English caricaturist and portrait painter Sir Leslie Ward, 40.2cm x 28.2cm including the frame.

The National Portrait Gallery in London owns a copy of this 1873 chromolithograph and holds it in its permanent collection (inv. no. NPG D43595).
